Re: How big does my shelf need to be...?

(...) Instead of a shelf, maybe try making a "wall rack" for it. You would probably need 2 to 4 arms for the rack. Put some kind of brackets on the wall, with "arms" sticking out from them that are shaped just right for the SD. Put some kind of foam (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: My average set

(...) God Damn you people! thanks to this Mindless discussion I now look at every word I see and start to think of abbreviations that word could have. Damn it, Damn it, Damn IT! Although some of them have been interesting. I shouldn't have suggested (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: My Moonbase Chess Module

(...) Feedback? Oh okay, move the microphone closer to the speakers. Ha! In all seriousness, even though it's not town (wink) I find myself spotlighting this great MOC Jeff. Some really interesting uses of standard and not so standard parts. Aside (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Babbo natale...

(...) Complimenti... hai già montato il 9748? Se si, hai un bel servizio fotografico e o un minifilmato con quello che fa? Io per Natale ho ricevuto un 10133. Bello! Ciao Mauro (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Change to existing policy regarding the subfiling of dithered colors

(...) Maybe. I think I was in the past and I wanted to go check that I wasn't, so I thought I'd post the link, just in case. (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Transformer Power

(...) OR.... You can soop it up. OR you can have someone soop it up for you:-) That is just what I did. Jeff Titchenal of the (URL) Southern Pacific LEGO Train Club> (I hope this is okay to plug your stuff, Jeff!) sells modified 3 amp transformers (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Robolab Documentation

Several recent posts have complained about the lack of Robolab documentation. "Engineering with Lego Bricks and Robolab" seems like a pretty good reference / tutorial handbook. It's available from (URL) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: My Moonbase Chess Module

(...) Very nice board- I love the hoses and other greebling on the surface! The trans blue works very well for black squares. The interior is well done as well, and the railings are great. (...) While the pieces look nice, I can't imagine trying to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Transformer Power

(...) The chip in the controller is officially rated at 1.3A, but it has a rather small heatsink and automatic thermal shut down, so it seems to go to about 1A continuous. You can push it, but it'll warm up and shut down on you, then you have to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Vita in città

(21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: FBTB Fourms: How we miss you

(...) What the Heck is this (didn't want to use "heck")? I just checked out that site, and it looks like a site where "raunchy Lego talk" takes place. The discussion about putting ones mouth to..... well I won't say it here, but it does mention (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Transformer Power

Can anyone tell me how much current a standard train controller puts out? I want to run several standard 9v gear motors from a train controller. But, I'm not sure how many I can run, before bad things start to happen. Thanks Steve (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Steel Falcon Redeux

(...) Hey, Chris, I like it. And I do remember admiring the Steel Falcon Mark I, a few weeks ago. But my memory of the original is certainly not going to be as sharp as yours. Meanwhile, you seem to have deleted the "MOC page" for the original Steel (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.space)

  More micro-scale MOCS

I've posted more of my Lego Factory entries on Brickshelf, 22 in total to be exact. It's been a lot of fun creating these, even though I haven't had much luck in the actual contest. Here is the link to my folder. LMKWYT. Thanks for looking: (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX) !

Re: Change to existing policy regarding the subfiling of dithered colors

(...) To be honest, I suspect that if you aren't a hard-core reviewer, you're probably not holding anything due to dithering. Maybe I'm just being cynical, though. --Travis Cobbs (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

8 wheeled steam train with driving rods

Mayby not as challenging as the topic title says, but at least I got your attention ;-) I like the way the lego trains were build in the blue track era, but I make no problem with using new parts as well. Having built 4 and 8 wheeled (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  No reason whatsoever...

I set up a blog. Mostly to see if I could. Now that I have one, I have no idea what to say in it, but it works wonderfully... (URL) I'll see where I go with it. I don't think it'll take place of o-t.d, but hey, one never knows... ;) Dave K (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Has anyone made an American 4-4-0 with BBB wheels?

(...) Oh, sure I ask you about a few nit picky details and you go right for the "does it work" jugular vein. Just kidding. Actually, it doen't get run that much, so I did some preliminary testing. I ran it backwards over a point with five 8-wide (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)
