  Re: Tallest lego crane

(...) Ross, I have yet to try the SDBW configuration, however if I add all the counterweihgts to the Superlift, the crane will hold the boom off the ground at 0 degrees. The only reason i use the wheels is to ease the stress on the motors, and to (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Explorovore

(...) Thanks. The word "ovipositor" also popped into my head when I was taking the pictures. I was thinking that it would require an elaborate apparatus like a space shuttle manipulator arm to place an egg in zero g. It moves very slowly and gently (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: Toy store won't sell me any Lego!

As a general rule, retail district managers aren't the brightest people. I would suggest going above this DM's head to an operations chief, appear in dispair, and you may even get a $100 gift card for the mess. Or, if you're so inclined, go to a (...)   Re: Would someone from TLG please explain the mad specials on S@H Australia site?

Question: Are the specials we are getting the same as those that europeans are getting? If not, that is definatly a reason to complain. (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Toy store won't sell me any Lego!

(...) I went shopping yesterday. The KB in Chandler Arizona had some soldout sets. Any way I asked the DM that was in the store and asked him if I wanted to buy a few dozen of the sets that I had in my hand would he stop the sale. He replied NO I (...)   My New LSF

On my last trip to Franklin, NC I did get around to actually measuring the bunk house on my girlfriends property. It is 20'x 11' with 10' ceiling.   Re: Problem with MLCAD arrows in other programs - and how to solve it: Little DOS program

Hello again, I wrote a little DOS program which does the ghosting automatically. You just have to type in the file name with its path and the programme will create a file called [filename].ghs. Then you have to change the name of this file (for (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Inventory for set 3795?

Yesterday I was build one of my old Fabuland sets, namely Kitchen, 3795. This set is one of the small Fabuland sets that had the instruction on the back of the box. (I believe it is one of them anyway.) Since I don't have the box I searched the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.fabuland)

Would someone from TLG please explain the mad specials on S@H Australia site?

I am looking at the specials on the LEGO Shop At Home website and I simply cannot believe the poor quality of the specials listed on the site. For instance the 10021 USS Constellation has been marked down from the original price of $99.95 to a (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: 2-wheelers

(...) I think another huge difference (for me at least) is that Steve's code learns where the upright position is, while most of the others need to be put down in the correct position. (That is what the piece of code does in the 50ms if()). John (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics)
