  Re: 10152 Update

(...) For all collectors who trusted your words of a "Limited Edition" of this set and bought it by thinking having a real rare and collectible set with the ever last bricks in maersk blue this announcement is a kick in their ass. One more fact not (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Ribbed hoses synth

(...) There are plenty of other hose generators. Mlcad, LDDP, ldglite, and LEDIT mode for emacs all have them. And I think some of them do support fixed length hoses. But I think the right thing to do is adapt lsynth to do what you want. The source (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

8x9 foot LEGO menorah constructed in Burlingame, CA

I found out about this too late to go see it in action, but apparently a rabbi in Burlingame, CA (just south of San Francisco) built an 8-foot-tall, 9-foot-wide menorah, complete with candle holders and electric lights. Here an article about it a (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.fun.holiday)

  10152 Update

All, As the saying goes... I have some good news and some bad news about the 10152 Maersk ship. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post an update.   Re: Esso Garage

(...) Very nice Bill. I especially love the way you used 1960's parts with modern Lego. The original Esso Service Station #310/#1310 was produced from 1957 to 1966 as part of the Town Plan system built in the classic scale (door = 3 bricks tall). (...)   Any tips for building tall towers?

I'm working on a module for the Great Ball Contraption, but this involves having a lot of stuff elevated way up off the plate. At the same time, I don't have a ton of bricks -- I'm a newbie to the AFOL world. So, I need to build some supporting (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)
