  Re: PCS AGENA 1/B Cruiser

(...) Excellent. I especially like that grey gappy bit on the top of the prow, tha's a nice look. I agree about the rear though, it's a little light on and could have done with a little more doing. But hey, I got no Baby Admiral on the way. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Anyone want a spaceship design?

(...) I was actually thinking of a automated crane on a train car that can read barcodes placed beside the track and load and unload crates from cars ahead and behind it at different stops, based on these barcode commands. So the train will have to (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: input used as output

(...) No, that's an internal limitation of RCX inputs: when configured for active sensors, they provide a 14mA current limited supply. This low current is enough to light a LED or slowly turn a motor, but don't expect to get any significant (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Some 2005 sets showing up already in regular stores.

Someone on the website obviously noticed the traffic increase and either pulled the pictures (possibly due to LEGO intervention) or stopped deep linking. Either way, they are gone (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2005)

RCX has a fast clock, was Re: Rolling ball clock revisited

Hello dave, (...) A made an experiment this night using a RCX 2.0, the clock was fast by about 10s per hour. I suppose that this problem comes from bad capacitor loading of the crystal used on RCX. Crystals need to see some capacitance to oscillate (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: The Lego Logo

Remember it's not just what LEGO want to pursue, it is what they legally _have_ to pursue to maintain their trademarks and copyrights. The company may love for fan sites to show their logo and name prominently, but if they want to keep hold of their (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 2648(2?) Container Grab

(...) Conventional wisdom is that imprints of the form N-NN are present to identify the indidual "well" in moulds that produce multiple copies of a part. Considering that the matching grip is 2649, I think it is highly likely that the part number (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Ciao Guido, spero che i tre camion che ti ho mandato verranno catalizzati... Grazie per la recensione positiva.   Re: Rolling ball clock revisited

Hi Rob, (...) I tried a similar mechanism (a large inclined plane with a width reduction in the end), the problem is that LEGO balls are somewhat rough, and they tend to form a locked arch above width shrinking. I even tried to add a stirring (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: LDraw on G4TechTV Screen Savers

Re: LDraw on G4TechTV Screen Savers

Hey! My program's been shown on TV now. I feel so fulfilled ;-). Well, maybe not quite, but it was still nice to see. Nice job on the segment, Tim. I don't think I would have thought to use wireframe cutaway to show both wireframe and solid. (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)
