Re: Color change: **CEO Draft Letter**

(...) This is a GREAT suggestion. I would part with a few new gray plates and a couple of 1x2 "old gray" plates, to make the point. I would add, why not put in some pics of various MOCS that have been displayed at shows, and on the WEB, that make (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Fabuland wall parts - question

(...) Dear Sybrand, Please send me these files. I'd like to create a small scene, similar to yours, in order to test the 4876.dat - Fabuland Slide part, I have modelled recently. (URL) you don't mind, I can offer my efforts to finish the these (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Tatsumaki

(...) Wow, Marcus. You beat me to it. (I seem to write that on Lugnet a lot.) And it looks really good! I am not a mecha person -- I'm a bit too old, I guess. But my son loves giant robots, so I've been trying to build a few. I have a half-completed (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Fw: What is the Best Starter Train Set? LEGO 65537

Doug, You are right! I couldn't find 65537 listed at BrickBros either. But it should also be pointed out that this is a hard set to try and locate anywhere on the internet. I did some searching for it on google, and most e-tailers selling LEGO don't (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  error in 3644.dat

Hello, as I was modelling set 165, I needed part 3644.dat to create the two double doors. But when rotating the door I noticed that the slots for the hinges are not in the center of the part. I think this is an error. I don't own this part irl, so (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Fabuland wall parts - question

(...) Dear Ampi, I have been busy working on these parts (and I used them to create this figure: (URL) ), but I haven't been able yet to finish them completely. The door frames have been made by someone else, the door itself has also been done (I (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Fabuland wall parts - question

Dear Part Authors, What do you know about these parts? Have they been modelled in Ldraw yet? (URL) Peeron calls them "Fabuland Cupboard with Red/Yellow Round Symmetric Window", but this is a bit confusing (I could hardly find them), because they (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Space Police MOCs

Hi James I have been following your MOCs as they have appeared on Brickshelf. I am a bit of a Space Police fan and I have enjoyed seeing what you have made out of the Space Police theme and colour scheme. I am currently building up my collection of (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

  Trains and Space

MichLUG just did a train show and they had two layouts. One was a moonbase with monorail and one was a regular town/train. So we have options: 1. make the display 16' x 4' 2. make a moonbase/monorail and a town/train each 8' x 4' patty (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

Re: That doesn't totally seem right.

(...) If you're storing this all in the datalog, you should be able to go much farther than 27 times through the loop. Try storing a couple hundred values (how big is the datalog?) Then, you should see the time-between-changes get bigger. Also, it (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)
