  Re: LEGO Factory entry: 3-Wide!

(...) Cool! I hadn't seen those. I really like the technique used for the 2-wide engine. Kelly (21 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Final draft of the letter?

(...) TLC has had Reps at the Brickfests, they have seen what we can build with the Brick. Many AFOL's, especially .Castleheads have many projects that they are working on or have planned that now won't happen because of the color change. Send them (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: Color change: Let's go straight to the CEO!

(...) I don't know specifically, but I would assume (note the word "assume") that since the entire Spider-man line is licensed, that the licensing body would have a say in the design, or the fact that so many licensed figures (Mary Jane, Peter (...)   Re: Any NCLTC/LUG members living in Franklin, NC

(...) Steven, no problem here, except you need to get through the mountains in GA to get down towards us (sometimes a bit of a pain). Even if you want to do NGLTC and NCLTC stuff, I don't see a problem. It's not like clubs are competing for (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.us.nclug)

  Re: *** LDView Version 3.0 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) Thanks. I didn't have specular on, and turning it on gave me the same problem (at least at work; hopefully it will at home also). I'll do what I can to see what's up and fix it. --Travis (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re:Ferrari

Thanks for the info John. I think "crowkillers" dislikes the model because it does not appear to have shocks and the wheels don't appear to be the large size typically used for technic supercars. However, I like it. It looks great- especially the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I love major studless Technic models. If this big baby has the mechanics of the last supercar -- working engines, 5+R gearbox, full suspension, 1400+ pieces, etc. -- and rings in at C$150 or less, I'll get one. Given the going prices of past (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 4679 tubs now $19.97

(...) Thanks Greg. I picked up two today. To make the deals even better, they are giving out one pack of LEGO Magazine plus Bionicle comic book for each Lego item bought. Tubs count. I pushed my luck a bit and managed to score an even sweeter deal, (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

  question about inputs & outputs

ok this is a funky idea, but I've already got some evidence it can work. I *really* need 4 outputs, but I only need 2 inputs for my project. Is there some way, using brickOS (I assume it's impossible without modifying firmware), to reprogram an (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: why doesn't this work?

(...) That doesn't totally seem right. I would think it would slow, before stoping. One last thing to try is actually storing sensor value in the array. Also, in the Checkvar function, it looks like the line: if(temp<27) temp=0; should say (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Color change: **CEO Draft Letter**

(...) Actually, I 100% agree with you there (and did before I posted) - and the LEGO magazines I've seen for 10+ yrs proves your point. I agree that brick size and shape are MUCH more important (and hinted at that in the letter, so it didn't appear (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Color change: **CEO Draft Letter**

(...) There is a factual error here. Dark grey and brown have not been around for 20 years. You probably want to annex the letter with a detailed description of which colours have changed, with a photo, or even real parts, as an example if you want. (...)   Re: Color change: **CEO Draft Letter**

Thanks for the feedback. (...) Good Point. I argued that internally as well, and thought that the promise on color consistency was a stretch (at best) so it's good to see some opinions that support that counter-point of view.
