  Re: Winners ... wow ... 10001

(...) Andrew, No problem. The end result is good news because there is a Liquidation World in Brantford. I guess I will just have to go check it out on my lunch tomorrow. Peter (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 07

(...) Yes, (5 URLs) via.. (URL) I'd like to see other Mecha Builders create bays for their creations and use this standard. A small one plate module to house or provide a back drop for a mech is a cool thing. Makes a nice display. (...) Yay! Thank (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 07

Ahem, WOW This would be officially Skadoo-afific. The crane, two axis movement on geared tracks using gears for movement, nice! Big industrial looking thing, like a oil platform almost all business with god knows what embedded inside. It's the (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 07

(...) How about we calll it the Red Roof Carbon Fiber Inn. (...) Ahh yes, those. Technic thingie #305. Trebek, we meet again. Cool part. I used them on the support/offload cranes too. I'm glad I had even multiples of them. (...) lol, I figured that (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Customer petition?

(...) I see. Well, it's something we should look into but that all sounds about right. And I think it's definitely important to conduct the survey/petition as professionally and unobtrusively as possible. (...) Yes. We would have to be clear to TLC (...)   LEGO Brand Store Near Heathrow?

I will be attending a meeting for work at a hotel near Heathrow 12/1 and 12/2 and wondering if any of the LEGO Brand Stores are near by? Looking at the LEGO.com web site, it appears that the Kinstron-Upon-Thames store ((URL) is probably the closest. (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Military Hover-Vehicle Contest Update

Tom McDonald, one of the judges has noticed a typo in the size limitations so I have fixed them accordingly, this will encourage some more active building, and fix the entries already in. Small (one-Man) has been upgaded to 20x20 limit. Medium (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce)

Re: Lego Train 115 - building instruction

(...) Dear Ton, thanks a lot for sharing this instructions with the community! I have just one hint to add: that set has definitely been sold in Austria. An AFOL at 1000steine reported that a while ago (he got that set as a child) and he even had a (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: MOC: Apocryphal Blacktron Freudenshadow Racer

(...) That was my hope. I don't build this stuff just to annoy (though, to be honest, I do derive a little satisfaction from that aspect of it, but it's a minor consideration at most), and although I enjoy sharing these MOC's, I know that the (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 5943 Color Question

(...) I do agree that the color tree is a great resource and it is shaping up nicely but their are still some discrepancies and missing info especially with the higher end numbers. (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: Customer petition?

(...) I also believe that is correct. I'm not sure that most malls are actually public property though. Although the "public" is invited to shop there, it is still a private business, and you may be asked to leave unless you had permission from the (...)   Re: London Underground Train

. (...) Terry, That's two questions! Minifigs are inside it but I have had to use a 2x1 brick or plates for the legs to reduce the height of the standing ones. It's quite amazing how each hair piece or hat affects the height of the 'figs with such (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Customer petition?

(...) I could be wrong but it was my understanding (as a former petitioner for the Libertarian Party) that if you are on public property, permission is not required. However, you can be asked to leave if you are disruptive (block pedestrian flow, (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: anyone here?

(...) Actually I've been snooping around but haven't seen any fabuland sets at quite the right price, I'm not spending $100+ on a 200 element set. Fabuland seems just like Animal Crossing(the Videogame) and, to me, would be really nce to have a (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.fabuland)

Re: MOC: Apocryphal Blacktron Freudenshadow Racer

(...) Personally (not officially!) I think Dave found the right level of compromise. The craft is clearly a spacecraft, not a tugboat so it's a spacey topic, not a castly or towny one. People talk about non LEGO but space related topics here (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
