Re: Ik ben halverwege Ep1 !

(26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.loc.nl)

  Re: Upon Further Review...barrier answer

(...) Let's see... he books it really fast into the little room with Maul, who uses his souped up reflexes to chop him down, because Obi-Wan's natural reflexes are unable to let him block the strike. A good time to use speed, to me, would be when (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Ep1 peeves (includes spoilers)

(...) Well, I dunno. I think they just didn't take Battle Droids too seriously. I mean, they did beat feet *awful* quick when they were faced with the Destroyer Droids- complete with Obi-Wan's exclaimation "Master! Daestoyers!" You can't say he (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Upon Further Review...barrier answer

(...) But... but... but... OWK was doing _one_ thing - trying to run through the barriers. If that is not a good time to use speed, what is? So that is not a good, complete answer. Unless in some later movie OWK, in retelling this story, smacks his (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Greetings! Star Wars has just (finally) pulled me out of my dark ages! What I want (need) to know is... Are there any other LEGO fans online in the Wilson area? Thanks, Will (26 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)

  Re: Upon Further Review...barrier answer

(...) Jedi Speed. It's a commonly (read, in more than one Star Wars book/game/etc) used Force ability. My personal guess as to none of them- Obi-Wan, Maul, or Qui-Gon- used it to get through the barriers is that they were busy using the Force in (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
