  Re: Surprise bags at S@H

(...) Last year, when I called S@H in Canada, the lady told me what was in those bags. It was not very interesting. I wish it is not the same assortment this year.   Ropes, Flex Tubes, Rubber Bands, et. al.

Hi All, I've been working diligently on LDrawing my Hudson 4-6-4 Steam Engine ((URL) and am finally running up against the seemingly impossible: Is there a way to modify pieces so that they bend and curve? So far, I've replaced bent flex-tubing with (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Displacement Tonnage for Spaceships?

(...) Yes, and it was this relatively convenient conversion that made me think this measurment might be useful for some of us who build in ABS. (...) Based on the other commentary I have seen, I would guess no. But I still feel it was worthy of (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Light Gray Tiles in set #10041

Hello, In set #10041, the LEGO Legends remake of #6390 - 'Main Street', it seems to me that for the rails of the building crane the original parts #812 - 'Train Level Crossing Center Rail Cap Insert' have been replaced by plates with tiles on top of (...)   Re: Displacement Tonnage for Spaceships?

(...) Haha! :) I hope someday that I can build a ludicrous big ship. Most of mine are sorta small, fairly small, and diminutively small. :) (The Terrorformer and the Armegeddon being two exceptions of course.) -H. (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Displacement Tonnage for Spaceships?

(...) I would agree that it is not based on any true science. Rather, I suspect hydrogen displacement was chosen because of the potential "sounds cool factor", since it sounds like a nautical term. Some sci-fi's (not all) like to draw comparisons (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Float and int

(...) Mabie Fixed Point is an answer. I dont know how it works but I have a book that suggests that a decent Fixed Point library can be faster than Floating Point if there isnt an FPU available. (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Float and int

(...) You should look in the gnu gcc compiler documentation for this. Float support is not OS but compiler specific. As I recall, gcc uses IEEE float format, the specification should be found somewhere in the net. But doing float with the brick is (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Il mio NQC per BeOS

Ciao Gabriele, credo che noi non ci conosciamo, è da poco che conosco il gruppo.
