Re: Star Wars Lego Design Contest?

I suppose that really is too many but we can't have the falcon in with a bunch of smaller, but still cool models. I think the original three would be fine, but I do like the idea of a scene(I sure would like to know what Terry thinks is better than (...) (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A few short SW nitpicks

(...) We have trans yellow visors. I can't for the life of me remember where they came from, but I know I have a few. The other question is why do you think the visors in the Star Wars sets would be trans-yellow. Allen (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Random text on a website

I have a file of quotes (an HTML Table) that I want to use on one of my webpages. However, I want only one quote to display randomly when a page is accessed. Anyone have a Java or other applet for this they could share? (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: All UK Groups subscribed?

I may have missed this already but: Couldn't the "locations" page be redesigned to show groups and subgroups in an outline format that would better define main and subgroups like subdirectories in DOS or Explorer.   Re: How to produce building instructions for your own creations

(...) Mario, Great idea! But wrong newsgroup. This belongs in lugnet.build. (Crossposting there now, with followups set there...) lugnet.off-topic.* is for off-topic (non-LEGO) discussions, and your post is quite on-topic to LEGO. --Todd (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.build)

  "peg wheels"

I'm not 100% sure I know what the post about "peg wheels wanted" (plus I've deleted the email!), but I think you might find something useful on the Star Wars Y-Wing: circular bricks, 1 whole brick high, 4 studs diameter, with what appear to be (...) (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)

No really - a rational discussion of people selling via eBay?

Maybe it's too much to hope for. Who knows. I was called on the carpet recently for making a statement about eBay scalpers.
