Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

(...) That's what it's all about :) (...) Impressive. I certainly wouldn't suggest that anyone go out and buy Galidor, or any other set for that matter, just for the sake of this competition, but nine out of ten of the parts is going to be hard to (...)   Re: treni e trenini

(...) Ciao. Premetto che la risposta alla tua domanda non la so. Pero' il tuo post mi ha fatto notare delle scatolette di rotaie lego da 12V. Sono il set 7855. A qualcuno possono interessare? A Crema 5.58 euro. Ce ne sono quattro, mi pare. Ciao. (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.it)

Re: OT: Quick homework help :-)

(...) Well here's the theory: Earth's axis is tilted 23.5º from the solar plane, which for this discussion means any city above -23.5 latitude may see sunrise at >90º in summer (and similarly sunset <270º). Thus Darwin, Townsville, Cairns and (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.pt)

  Re: Motor Control Register (0xf000)

(...) Yeah, I missed that, I'll add that to the notes. (...) Too bad they didn't document the hole well enough to make it obvious to the people at Lego, who apparently had no idea. They use "mov.w rx,@0xf000:16" all over the place instead of the (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(...) I'd call it "one and a half" :-) (...) But I would posit that those were done for the lighting effect rather than for the keystone arch simulation as John did (which, by the way, is REALLY neat.... gonna have to crib it.) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Delightful Radio Shack VIC20 Robot Article

I used to LOVE those Osborne books! In grade 8 we built the robot described in one of them, but had it run off a C-64 rather than a VIC 20 or Spectrum or whatever it was that was described in the book. We got it to work, though someone's older (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Use of box.dat primitive

Hello all, I'm a bit concerned about several parts submitted to the Parts Tracker that use the box.dat primitive (the one with all faces and edges present), where other primitives would have been more appropriate.
