Re: trains and my original Railtech train cars...

  Why I hate # anchors

(...) I think #-anchors are totally evil and I wish they'd never been invented in HTML (or at least implemented as poorly as they have been by the browser manufacturers). Here's why I think they totally suck and I hate them even more than I hate the (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

  SW collectables

I know some of you think that this is off-topic, but I have a question regarding SW collectables. Does anyone know of an online price guide for SW collectables. Any info would be appreciated.   Re: What kind of wheels are used on this bike?

(...) Most stuff at Legoland, unfortunatly, isn't designed to be "playable". But you're right, those are pullies for the hubs. The tires are standard small balloon tires. Jeff (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Set Availability

I stopped by the Raleigh Toys'R'Us on 70 (Glenwood). I'm guessing they got the shipment of Tie/Y's, infiltrators and Anakin's Pod racers that they were supposed to get for May 3. There is ample supply of each of those sets.. (At least 20 Tie/Y).. So (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Old Lego colors

(...) in (...) I only have one piece which I would consider "very old": it's a 1x1 round without a bottom circumference notch.   Re: Sith Infiltrator

(...) I don't think TLG is paying LFL per piece -- I'd guess they are paying either a flat rate, or a percent of the profits. As for the ownership of whatever, I'd guess LFL owns the likenesses of the characters, devices, and vehicles. TLG probably (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Linking between FAQ items (Was: [LDraw FAQ] Who wrote LDraw?)

(...) Okey-dokely. I'll put empty entries for the ones I don't have yet. They'll be unanswered for the time being, but this will ensure that the filenames are held. Heh, and I was working so hard to get the number of unanswered items *down*! ;-) (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Do you separate old vs. new LEGO?

(...) My old lego is constantly at war with my new lego. I build tanks- like vehicles from my old 70's lego (mostly yellow universal and blue/grey space sets) and have battles with the new lego. My old lego vehicles are manned by old space and (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Even though LEGO plates came out in 1963 (1x1 & 1x2, 2x2, 2x3, 2x4 in parts packs 521, 520, 519 and 518 respectively), parts packs were the only way to purchase them at the time.
