3) Gino, which gaming store is it at? I'm guessing, from an earlier thread, that it will be at the Soldiery..... ~Drew (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: Aquazone Cathedral - Pictures at last!

(...) (Picks jaw up off floor after realizing how much aquazone you have...). WOW! You are the only person I know of who can make such wonderfull aquazone stuff. How many neptune discovery labs do you own? (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Play wear?

(...) Well Mikohl, I've been disgusted with TLG changing the way they make their Lego for the past 2 years. Too many individual characters are one of the things I don't like. In the past, Lego themes had very few characters. Pirates for example only (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

Re: Aquazone Cathedral - Pictures at last!

Thanks for the compliments! My aquazone history is kind of interesting. I never bought a single aquazone set until last year. Then, just for fun, I got a 6199 (Hydro-crystalization station or something like that). However, I never used it to build (...)   Library of Tricks?

I was looking at Jun Yu's clever little Hexapod design, and thinking that I'm a *long* way from having the skills to design something neat and compact like that. Is there anywhere on the web - or in a book somewhere - a "library" of clever little (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: New Mecha: "Troll" Infantry Support Mecha

(...) Thanks Dan! My "White Tiger" and "Maniac" mecha also have front opening hatches. (...) Didn't you already point this out about my "Maniac" (it also has exposed fuel tanks), but again, these tanks are reinforced, and also the infantry protects (...)   Re: Jason J. Railton; de-lurking [& TVLF Trains]

(...) Not really. Some lost them during the war, all lost them after war. Speed gain was not worth the maintance headachs they caused. (and I am not a spotter, I am a owner/operator...look at: (URL) a photo of my monster, in 3.5" gauge.) James (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Library of Tricks?

(...) clever (...) Man, that's exactly what I'd love to see ... a set of Design Patterns for Lego construction, much like Alexander's patterns for architecture or the Gang of Four's patterns for object-oriented software. I smell a book opportunity (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Knight's Kingdom Set 4807

(...) Brian What kind of swords do you need. I have a bunch of the silver and the old gray ones. Email me if you want some. Thanks Andy (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

  New Theme Idea...

I got an idea of a sunken ghost ship theme. Mabey like an addition to divers. I mean, a ghost ship could be a ship made of totally transparent and glow in the dark pieces & figures. Could you imagine a pirate ship totally transparent? Hope the lego (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: 8458 Silver Champion is incredible!

(...) In catalog pictures, I see a guy in it with a helmet that looks unlike that of a normal (Technic) figure. Does it have a new figure? Alan (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Microsoft Train Simulator Update

  Re: You asked for it...

Sorry that I hadn't replied earlier... WOW! That micro-fig capital ship is amazing, I have to concur with Mark and Kyle, that rotating fighter launch bay is just awesome! Great stuff, can't wait to see more! (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Linux & RCX mini-HOWTO- comments/thoughts?

(...) Actually, I'd love to have it translated. However, if you could wait until I've "finalized" it, I think that would make much more sense. Since I leave for school again on Thursday, and at that point my life becomes much more complicated :) I (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: best train set for starting out

(...) Curt, Set 4565 is definitely the way to go. I've recently discovered LEGO trains, and bought 4559 first. Hard to make freight equipment out of that set, managed to make a 'critter' and a pair of depressed-center flatcars, but that's it. Since (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Linux & RCX mini-HOWTO- comments/thoughts?

(...) When was the last time you read /.? For better or for worse, there are many new Linux users who are not particularly clueful. (...) Really? That's a shame- I'd hoped to make Debian the first "Lego ready" Linux release. Oh well... I'll survive (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Knight's Kingdom Set 4807

Brian and Dave I will also mention that I have a lot of the long gray axes and crossbows. Let me know if you are interested in obtaining some. I could outfit a pretty good size army with what I have. I prefer bows and spears for my army of Black (...) (26 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)
