Curt,
Set 4565 is definitely the way to go. I've recently discovered LEGO trains,
and bought 4559 first. Hard to make freight equipment out of that set,managed
to make a 'critter' and a pair of depressed-center flatcars,but that's it.
Since then, I have bought two sets of 4565 and I'm simply having a blast with
these. If you want the biggest bang-for-your-buck, try set 4565...
