  Re: Mecha Legs

(...) Um, check on that? IANAL* but I have heard that the c-in-a-circle is not a good substitute for writing out thw word 'copyright'. I could be misremembering, however - it may have been using (c) (like, in a plan text file) that was not (...) (26 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Tension and getting mean

(...) Definitely not your imagination. I have noticed the same thing and have even spoken with people (including Todd) about it off-line. I find it quite disturbing and I hope it is just a "phase" and LUGNET will grow out of it soon. (...) I don't (...) (26 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Mecha Legs

(...) Indeed. Thanks for the reminder. (...) No, I wouldn't make that claim at all. It has happened already, in fact. I may not like it but so what?   Re: question on naming - pirate guns vs. modern guns

(...) Since Franklin and Todd have weighed in on this, I'll assume the matter is settled. Not to slight anyone else's opinion, but Franklin is the author (well, I haven't seen a rifle.dat yet (hint, hint)), and I've got a lot of respect for Todd on (...)   Chopped Throwbot parts (Was: Mark's Lego Creations Update!)

(...) Hmmm... This seems to be a ongoing desire in many people. Should we get LDraw parts for a customized Throwbot arm part? Not for the official release, of course, but for something to be available would be nice... Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) You should have *both*: Copyright © 2000 Matthew Miller. All Rights Reserved. The last phrase doesn't do anything in the US, but apparently is good to have for some other countries. (26 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: 3225 at busy bee

(...) hehe... ya, well, 2 things 1) I've already plundered Busy Bee, didn't need to go there to do that. 2) I may be going to the UK in August, so lock up your daughters, er... rare sets.   Re: Pirate Gaming

(...) Hmm, we never did manage PirateFest '00 (though we had a good time at Brickfest 2000). Should we try for Piratefest '00 (can we manage it before Lindsay heads off?)? (26 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

Some Heinlein on this matter, for those of you that care about common courtesty, and what it may say about the decline of a civilization: "Courtesy is the lubricant of social interaction."   Re: Quality of bricks from "bulk-ordering"

  Re: EGCS and GCC

I am using egcs version 1.1.2. When I make cross LANGUAGES="c c++", it will run, but then display gcc:cc1 Internal error 7, or something close to that.
