Wanted - Part from Twisted Time Train

I'm looking for 6-8 of the black wheels used in the smokestack of the Twisted Time Train (set 6497). If you've purchased this set and parted it out please contact me if you have any of these available. As an alternative I'd accept the same part in (...)   Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today?

(...) The gaspump in <set:3675> and <set:3670> is a single unit (at least in the sets I have), unlike for example the gas pump in <set:134> and <set:3666> which is made from 4 2x3 bricks. Sybrand (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today?

(...) Yes Larry I am including those type of pieces, since it still is a 2x4. There are so many sublte as well as large changes (in some instances), but if you allowed no slack at all the actual number would probably be "1" piece, the 1x1 brick. (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: KBKids order limits

(...) for (...) guess (...) I did put in another order to see what would happen. I agree with the sentiment they express of making it harder for resellers to profit from their mismanagement... but that's not me, or mostly not me, in this case. I (...)   Re: Ebay acution - Potential Fraud?

Well, I understand this happening. I have done it to other people's pictures and they have done it to mine. I never considered it a major problem, but I have only once had an email from somebody. That person was mad and I told him it happens all the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  RE: 3 x 6 train nosepiece

Re: First draft of the Lego-Modular Train layout standards posted..

(...) When I coined Legomodular I left the hyphen and capitalization out on purpose. Not really sure why except it seemed more suitable. Putting the hyphen back in emphasizes use of LEGO as an adjective. If there is a problem with it though, you (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: First draft of the Lego-Modular Train layout standards posted..

Well, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. I think that legomodular could be claimed as deprecating a brand more than LEGO(tm)-Modular could. Either way, it would seem very silly to have their legal department crack down on a couple (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Coko brand pirate ship parts

The only thing there I see that I might like are the scimitars. Those would be a nice switch for lego castle/desert figs. Tim (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  LTC/LUG web masters

Hi Guys, I just added a search engine to the PNLTC web site and thought I would pass on my experience. I went to Atomz.com and they have a extremely easy way to add a search engine. You "register" with them, Name, Address... and then give them the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains.org)

But I can say I support the idea and am figuring out now how to make our layout compatible with the modular one. ...We are using table top layouts based loosely on the PNLTC standard.   Re: Star Trek Lego?

(...) The really nice thing about modelling Star Trek ships is that you can take something like a salt shaker, lay it on its side and stick some toothpicks in it, and it becomes a Thiralian Hegemony Light Cruiser. :-, I've frequently played with (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: First draft of the Lego-Modular Train layout standards posted..

(...) I don't know who buys the most LEGO, or who has the most LEGO - but I think we can safely say that there are some pretty huge collections being represented on LUGNET and especially here in .TRAINS! If LEGO (the company) doesn't realize how (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Star Trek Lego?

(...) Once, a long time ago (ie, a couple of years) I built a Klingon Bird of Prey out of parts from a 6889 Recon Robot. I guess it was to "microfig" scale, although I certainly hadn't heard that term then. :D Anyway, I thought it turned out fairly (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) There are two 'standard' heights: 29 3/4" table + baseplate + 10 bricks + 1 plate 29 3/4" table + baseplate + 22 bricks + 1 plate (extra plate is used to represent 'ballast' under the tracks) The higher one should be close to PNLTC / WAMALUG (...)
