Re: New German Loco: Green DB139 and more

This is where 8-wide crowd wins out again. Commenting on your stud forward nose. I think it looks better than 2x2 1/4 curve (aka macaroni bricks?) bricks becase there are no gaps in your design. A macaroni brick desing would have unsightly (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Scans of jan. British LEGO magazine

(...) I can offer a preview of Michaels scans at (URL) :) Nah, I'm just being mean. Scanning in magazines is not fun - kudos to Michael for offering! Richard PS. Does anyone get the "Professional <something> Simulator" reference? (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: What's your LEGO Specialty?

(...) Right now, building cars and trucks is my specialty. Occassionally, I throw together a spaceship, but usually I am more inspired by things I see in real life.   Size of our Realms... and stuff.

Hey CW people, get ready for a bunch of rambling questions... =) Ok, What was the final verdict on the size that a person could make their initial realm? Or was it 'realms', plural? How does the map system work? Can we make maps on our own graphics (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Royal Blue pictures (and new Japanese Train site)

(...) Not really an answer to the above question, but I've just been browsing a Japanese Fan-created LEGO Train site that NYANTA links to and just saw this completed upside down "beer/wine" car: (URL) of fun new creations to enjoy at this web site: (...)   Re: matching motor speeds on mutli-motor trains

OK, I read the articles and basically there is not problem running two motors together. But if a new motor is run with an old motor the new motor will wear out faster than if it were run with a second new motor. So, if you want all your engines to (...) (26 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

Also, at six-wide with macaroni's, you can't mount "lights" and have two stud spacing between left and right "lights"...unless you stick the lights farther out in front than the macaroni's.   Re: What's your LEGO Specialty?

(...) One I forgot to mention is hacking around with the various graphics tools like MLCad, LDLite and POVRay. Although I do it primarily to support other activities, I enjoy it as well...   Re: Lego Direct (was Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!)

(...) Well, how true that is. You know, it's just possible that someone out there might have a Nebula Outpost, (6899) that he got months ago, or even years ago, that has been just collecting dust in their homes, not because it was unwanted, but it (...)   Re: Size of our Realms... and stuff.

Hi Nathan! There was much discussion about the issues you mentioned earlier, and a final conclusion was not REALLY reached.   Re: future BRICK updated (sorta)

(...) Awesome! If you capital ship is anywhere near as detailed and original as this model, I can't wait! I like how the detachable cockpit looks substantial on its own while still joining nicely to the rest of the model. --Bram (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

Watcha mean? I've seen engines that were paper thin. River City Railroad (in OR) has 2 which have suffered badly at the hands of mother nature. I must however, congradulate James M on a very nicely done model. James P (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
