  Re: New LEGO train realism?

I think we are on the same track here. I am doing that as well. One option that I think all involved would want is that you can have a "section" comprised of X modules where nothing matches the module standards where they break up EXCEPT where the (...)   Re: Minifig What scale are they??

I think the problem is here that Lego have contradicted themselves with their scaling in certain models. They produce trucks and cars at 4 stud wide, passenger planes at 4 stud wide, yet trains at 6 studs wide? I have seen trains on the back of (...)   Re: Bid retractions (was Re: eBay dead again)

(...) I would never use any auction system that _required_ me to be held to a bid in such a way. I'd love to have the _option_ to place my bids in such a way, but for that to be the default, no way...that's just yet another formula for anguish among (...)   Re: Wish lego would make more different themes.

(...) Yes I can see it now..... the Wizard of Oz theme would incorporate Art Deco (the Emerald City) with Medieval (Witch's Castle), and historic American Vernacular architecture (Kansas). Now that is the proverbial "something for everyone". Gary (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Bid retractions (was Re: eBay dead again)

(...) That's a pretty big if. Especially since someone proving it only means your eBay account getting yanked, as you haven't broken any prosecutable laws (that I can think of).   Re: Bid retractions (was Re: eBay dead again)

(...) BTW, if I understand what people are saying about eBay, if you do get stuck with one of your old bids that got reinstated at the end because some other bloke reneged at the end, do -can- renege on your bid, yes?   Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!

Just a while ago I got a call from the Georgia LEGO Outlet. They are getting some new old stuff in, and apparently are calling people who have placed orders there and soliciting pre-orders. Neato! (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Bid retractions (was Re: eBay dead again)

Re: Bid retractions (was Re: eBay dead again)

(...) Once the auction is ended, the ONLY binding contract is the high bid. If the high bidder reneges, the seller is allowed to contact you, but you are under no obligation to accept. If the auction has NOT ended, and someone retracts their bid, (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Bid retractions (was Re: eBay dead again)

(...) Well, nowadays you need a credit card also, don't know exactly what they check, so I don't know if you can get more than one account without the friends credit card number.   Re: Podracing bucket contents revealed . . .

In the end, this is all moot. I'm keeping the pics to myself, and should have never brought it up. As a webmaster of sorts, it's very easy to jump out and say "look what I've got!" I should have gone to LEGO and asked, like I am doing now. If LEGO (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Building my train table

eBay Auctions - Grey Bricks, Train Parts

Just wanted to let everyone know that I posted about 90 auctions on eBay this week. All of them close on Tuesday (3/28). All of the pieces are brand new.
