  Re: I need some advice....

I have thought about the possibility of building such a table. Being an ex-model railroader myself, I would probably build the landscape out of plaster-coated mesh (adding paint and grass afterwards). I thought it would be a good idea to embed green (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

  Removing Printing From Transparent Parts

Removing Printing From Transparent Parts... I know printing can be removed from bricks etc using household solvents. Is it possible to use the same method on clear windows etc without any damage? Scott A (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Inn/tavern teaser

(...) I've found that using the 1x2 or 2x2 bricks with the built-in pins works even better because you don't have to worry about the pin itself coming loose. The other side would of course be a 1x2 technic beam. (...) Actually, those are something (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: proposal: sever lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf and ba-lego mailing list

Dear ba-lego@cinnamon.com listadmin: I'm still seeing messages coming in through the gateway. If you still want to sever the link, here's how we can accomplish this cleanly: (URL) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

TRU has old: DUPLO 2794 home, Spyrius, Cowboys, Pirates, Mummy

A TRU store by my home has a lot of "recent old stock". It was a real mess, but I found some gems sorting through it. Some of them were attractive when I was last there in 1998! If anyone is interested in stuff, I could pick it up. Not much is (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: New Castle section

(...) One thing one could do to break up the monotony of the holes a bit would be to put grey Technic pegs into some of the holes. They would then look like the stubs of dead branches. Frank (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Arches

(...) If you mean 1x2 arches with plate (looks like <part:6005 this> but smaller) then no way! They are used in many town and paradisa sets, and can be used in very cool ways in castle, and prolly space too. However, if you still want to get rid of (...) These things make great train roofs--I have a rather large collection of gray ones waiting for me to make train cars to go under them :) They come in Model TEam sets (3 black and 2 red in 5542, I think 2 white, 2 gray, and 6 red in 5561), (...)   Pink Rooofs and DUPLO 2794 playhouse

I've never been into DUPLO ("Puppy" and "Ducks" drove me away), but recently I received some pink tile/white sloping roof bricks in a 9190 zoo. I assumed these were not part of the original zoo! I gave them away to a friend whose daughter has the (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) I'd add that Edmonton, AB is more likely than Toronto...because of the West Edmonton Mall, not for any other great reason. Toronto doesn't have a 'festive' mall (except perhaps Square 1 in Missisagua), so that is why I would say Edmonton (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re:Expansion Board Problems Solved!!!

Haya Me again, After spending 2 and a half ours of probing, there was a bead of solder about the size of a hair and 3mm long bridgeing one of the multiplexeers pins to a pass through which was very close to it.   Re: I need some advice....

(...) How about gluing "sacrificial" pieces onto the table. Green 1x6 plates, or such like (now that they are more common!) could be glued onto the table where you want to locate a baseplate. Then, take a 2x4 plate, and attach it on top of the 1x6 (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)
