  Re: Minifigs

Hmm... true enough. I hadn't really given it much thought. All the same, for those starting out, (even those of us that aren't 8) ), LDraw and MLCAD offer a fairly simple solution. Making such an absolute statement sure was a goof on my part though. (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: A brief state of NELUG message.

(...) Well, it's more filling, and better for you [1]. But I think Matt might be getting at the general BBQ bent of Bison County. I can see how a vegetarian might be a little put off by it (no matter how good it is) ;D. eric 1) I remember reading (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Minifigs

Hmm...MLCAD lists them under "minifig". Have you made sure you downloaded the "complete.exe" file with all the parts? (I don't mean to sound condescending here, just trying to cover all the bases.) Ben Vaughan ---...--- This space reserved for a new (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Speculation on the nature of minifigs (moved from Dear LEGO)

(...) You're all wrong--minifigs didn't "evolve"... They were created from the firmament so that to any logical observation they appear to have evolved, though in fact it's all a hoax! 8^) Dave! (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MPD spec

  Where to park on Saturday?

I am presuming car park 7 from the map. Does this get busy, being close to the station? How much for all-day parking? How far will we have to lug our stuff? What time is everyone turning up? I plan to arrive about 9am to avoid any traffic. I'll be (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: New LEGO® Brick Store Website Now Open!

(...) Troy, I like the store and am thinking about placeing an order. I was just wondering if you had considered taking payment through PayPal or X.com? It just seems a bit easier and you get your money right away. Just wondering, Eric Kingsley The (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: GP2D02/GP2D12 w/o expansion board

When using the GP2D02, you are using port A, pin 5 and port A, pin 0. That's where the PA0 and PA5 terminology comes from. I wrote that particular piece on the Acroname website, so I apologize for not being more clear. And yes, it is necessary to (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) As further support of this: We all know that modern minifig didn't exist before 197X (see Gary's post for the X, I think it's a 3, but I'm not completely sure). When they arrived on the scene they had complex tools and machines, like police (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
