Re: How good is 8485 Technic Control Center?

(...) One slight clarification. The 2 push buttons that control one of the motors both turn the motor on, but in different directions. Also, one nice thing about the joystick is that it has 8 different positions, allowing you to control the two (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Senator Palpintine / Emperor

(...) Oh, it won't go that far. Ewoks are dumb, Jar Jar is dumb... I haven't even ever met any kids who like Jar Jar. (...) You can definitely run the basic LDraw program. It is DOS-based, and will run fine on just about any DOS/Windows machine, especially older ones. It is not the most easy-to-use program, but there is an excellent tutorial to get you started. (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad)

(...) Actually, I'd say that Lucas isn't pandering to the masses. Millions of whiny fanboys would love it if Jar Jar Binks weren't in Episode II, and yet he will be. eric (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Popula, the quirkiest auction site?

(...) Yes, the auctions are a bit slow as compared to other venues. But the fact that sniping is eliminated should be incentive for bidders--they can rest easy that they will not lose their high bid standing without time to react. Of course, many (...)   Re: White baseplates

(...) Historically, the 10x20 (thick) white baseplate was made from the mid 1950's until 1982, when it and the 10x20 grey baseplate were discontinued. But that is the older type of baseplate. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Is it possible to have too much LEGO?

(...) It is interesting to see that others are also "improving" on some original LEGO concepts.
