  Re: 1910 and 1920

(...) I've never heard of them, but would be happy to add them to the set database... do you have a camera or a scanner? Do the sets have names at all? --Todd (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.basic)

  1910 and 1920

Hi I am living in Italy and I have found two MIB set that I have never heard about before : 1910 and 1920. These seems to be special basic universal set made only for the French, German and Italian market, the year is 1982. The 1910 has about 84 (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.basic)

Re: what do these MOW vehicles do?

What do you know. Well, here's some pics of 6700s... (URL) are tampers. They tamp ties. That is, they reseat the tie in the ballast to make sure that it's evenly distributing weight, and that it hasn't sunk too deeply into the roadbed. The reason (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: what do these MOW vehicles do?

(...) For those who wonder what one of these looks like (like me), check out: (URL) most of the way down the page. How's that for a page full of ideas for LEGO creations... Or here's a better one: (URL) the description, looks like it's purpose is (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: what do these MOW vehicles do?

Obvious links to their site are currently not working for me, but they are located at www.pandroljackson.com or should be. MOW can do so many many different things. I confess that I don't have the entire PJ model line memorised so just a model (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: NEW Jambalaya Status Page

(...) Hi Dan; quick update--could you put a couple of additions on the end of the Space Lego Jambalaya Box list? Rick Kujawa (SpaceRocks@iname.com) should come after Joel, and Adam Yulish (myself, at bwappo@ee.net) should come after Rick. Thanks! (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: All of those minifigs

(...) My minifigs never/rarely stay in their original state. I switch heads and hats to give my Lego community different personalities. For instance, the baddie from "Spider's Secret" had a white hat that I thought would be more appropriate for my (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Mike's Auction Update 8 Some sold, some left....

Here is update 8, this is where it gets complicated for me !   Re: Website update: Moonbase Io

(...) I've got entirely too many of the "Droid Fighter" set (75% clearance made 'em ~$1.50 each. :) ), thinking that those long brown parts would be quite useful for MOCs, but I've not managed to figure out quite _how_. The Eclipse proves I was (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Is it possible to have too much LEGO?

YOu know, I've kind of taken to finding the old directions on www.Brickshelf.com and building with what I have. You won't have all the minifigs or maybe an exact duplicate, but it's fun seeing how I can modify it to work for my own purposes. It's (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Ah. (...) Right. Make that square opening thing into a separate brick. If you widen the nose you can leave it centered. (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Is it possible to have too much LEGO?

(...) Boy do I know that feeling... That's what's behind my buying habits. Fortuanately, setwise, I'm reaching the point of having much of what I want. I've got almost all the pirate stuff, in plenty of quantity, I've got most of the castle stuff I (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Pure theory on castle auction ...

I think Pawel worded his post rather poorly. one could read it as he is plugging his auction here on .theory. But if one examines the listing, one discovers that he's plugging *Castle World* via an auction. Pawel, you need to be MUCH more careful in (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Who has a space base?

(...) I'm not sure if you're looking for single building bases or accumulations of sets. Mine's pretty much 'out of the box' then slung onto some baseplates, but I like having it set up; I'm moving soon though so I took some pictures, and if you're (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)

  Lego Dacta Wall Wart

Re: Future of LEGO Trains ? was Re: Model Railroad Scenery

(...) I think Mike has gotten to the crux of the problem. All the issues brought up are merely technical puzzles to solve. Personally, my investment in my 5 trains and assorted train items wouldn't hold me back from 8 wide. Again, I think if TLC is (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)
