Re: [CW] More new pics ... and guns in CW

(...) FTR, I have a squad of Musketeers. While I don't plan on having any more than that, I do plan on having a couple cannons, but these will be the inventions of the "wizards" who call themselves Engineers. ;) I plan to equip one Airship with (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Tri-star wheel part

(...) That piece doesn't really work. I've been fiddling around with Tri-Star wheels for about a year now with no real luck in making a successful one. I did have a break-through about 3 months ago in a design, but it's real clunky and the drive (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

DS-4 page up, and a little blacktron suprise

I got the DS-4 page up. Check it out! (URL) I had the digital camera ( I borrow one from school) I decided to take some shots of a little blacktron ship that will be part of a new blacktron line that I'm creating. There will be a couple of ships, a (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Thoughts on breaking out a pneumatics subgroup

I agree with you, Peter. Usually there are somewhere between 10 and 30 postings to this group per day. It shouldn't be too difficult to find the pneumatics postings among them. The daily number of postings as it is now is enough to keep a healthy (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

8448 Flexible Axles (was Re: Parts from 8448 not LDrawn)

[FUT lugnet.cad.dev] Can anyone confirm or deny that the flexible axles in the 8448 Supercar were first released in Znap sets? Thanks! Steve (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.technic, lugnet.znap)

FA: [eBay] Parts Lots and Army of the Undead!

Hi all, I have new lots on eBay. This listing does not take into account recent bidding on a few of the lots, but they're all still under "market value." Look especially at the Army of the Undead, and the lot of three ghosts I've made available. I (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: bridge designs for big space MOCs

(...) I've only done a small amount of bridge work. One, really. My perpetually-unfinished large-spaceship project includes a bridge where the entire shell is made from the transparent 12high quarter-dome pieces. The idea was to give the crew as (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Updated my pages; new nanofig-scale starships

(...) The good news on focus is that increasing the light provides added choices: you can increase the shutter speed (1/60 -> 1/250, for example) or increase the F-stop (1.8 -> 5.6, for example), or a combination. Increasing the F-stop is generally (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Monorails

(...) Why shouldn't it be possible? Actually I only know the spirals of Jan, a friend of mine, who built them for 12V track. But they are far to big, to get them on most tables. With an increase of one brick per 16 studs of track, all the 12V (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: [CW] Too many wizards???

(...) Which is why people can turn down Battle requests and can come up with a mutually beneficial outcome. :) (...) I'd say the more wizards you have, the less powerful the average wizards are. I would not bar powerful leader mages, though. Jeff (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Custom Lego on the upswing?

Lar, I see 5 "custom" creations, but only 1 custom set. The rest are customized minifigs. Yes, they are custom, but not in the way your hopper is custom. They are modified Lego. Your hopper is an alternative to TLC designs. The other 4 "creations" (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Thoughts on breaking out a pneumatics subgroup

(...) Just to express the contrarian view: I think it is a bad idea. Too often I see subgroups created that languish due to a lack of volume.
