  Re: hexipod walker

Personally I use a Scott Edwards Serial Servo Controller (model 1, there is a new one out now) - SSC. On the handyboard web site is a program to control this serial device from the handyboard, which means you can just set each leg position and let (...)   Re: Rotation sensor

(...) The circuit shown, is rather basic, but perfectly acceptable. The phototransistor draws a varying amount of current according to the incident light level.   Re: LDraw CD-ROM Project

(...) I'd gladly pay 10$ or 20$ for a suite with LDraw and related software, if it is on a pressed CD. I would also pay beforehand if that is what it takes to ensure the project. Why not make a count of who's willing to buy such a CD? It is the (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Pneumatic Solenoid Valve Interest Poll

The better model railway ('railroad') point ('turnout' or 'switch') controllers use a largish capacitor to drive their solenoids. This has several benefits: it provides a high voltage/current to drive the solenoid and it isolates the solenoids (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LDraw CD-ROM Project

(...) As I'm sure a lot of people would do. I don't think we'll charge near that much for the CD, beacuse the goal isn't profit and I told the Jessimans' that we wouldn't collect on it.
