(...) Whoa. That's the same WTOWER.DAT distributed with ldglite. The one that LDLite, on my Pentium 400 with Win98, renders in 5.8 seconds? Amazing. Steve (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  My Wants Page Is Posted

After getting squashed, last-second-style, multiple times in eBay auctions, I'm posting my Lego wants list. I'm sure it will be a futile effort as most of my wants are highly valued door/window/train related parts. Just tired of dealing with (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Legos get you into college

(...) This is a good point, but one also has to consider that simply admitting anybody is just setting up some people to fail. At the very least, this will adversely impact those peoples' self-esteem (and IMO, *everybody's* self esteem is worth (...) (26 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: GB#3 - Question about splitting or content - Do you need WHEELS?

Yes, and this is the reason I may not add myself into new boxes - the shipping costs are getting outrageous on many of these boxes. (...) Well I haven't read the section of the book on vertex arrays yet. From a quick glimpse I suspect they won't help me much since I'm using the LDRAW files rather than a converted database of parts. I'm surprised you don't use display lists at a (...)
