Thats cool, nice smooth lines.
I like how the landing gear when retracted is completely out of the way. Thats
one thing I completely stink at, is landing gear.
Only nitpick would be to get rid of the orange.

I like it. Looks like a cool hover racer or luxo-sports car. Kinda looks like
muscle car-ish and ferrari-ish at the same time. I like the schleim building
and the use of the arched window pieces. Front end looks a bit flat though, but
that seems intentional with this design. Overall, I think it rocks. I need to
get me one of those air-blazers sets.

Thanks Douglas!
I think most of the parts used in this one come from the Air Balzers set : the
archer windows, but also the canopy and the 2x6x1 red slopes.
schleim building??? I saw that schleim word before, without understanding it.
Any meaning?
Cheers,
JP.

Ill try to remove the orange, see if it looks better. But I like these small
color drops, I think its more eye-catching.

See http://news.lugnet.com/build/schleim/
I believe that schleim is rough English=>German translation of the word snot
which we all know as SNOT (studs not on top) building. You could have
approriately cross-posted your creation to lugnet.build.schleim as well.
I also agree about the orange. Maybe if you could find some of those
chrome-silver grille tiles. That would contrast nicely against the red.

I went to see it, there is a post / a thread telling the full and original story
about schleim, its so nice, so funny!
Back on the orange, as you say i could try the chrome tiles, it would match
nicley with the red, but, dunno, with the black grills at the front... oh well,
Ill try also.

Actually, youll need to get two. One for parts, and one just to have that helo
built at all times. Its got to be one of my favorite operational LEGO
designs.

Sweet! I like the overall shape, and the landing gear are a big plus. I only
wish we could see under the hood.

This is very nice, great use of curves. I think it has just the right level of

something very similar for landing gear on something that I havent photographed
yet, though I think your front gear is better than mine. I like the use of the
ball joints for engines, but it would be nice if it could look more complex on
both the inside and outside. Also, I like the little bot, its cool, its too
bad the castle windows dont leave any room for compartments.

But, I actually like the orange,(1) so it looks like Ive wandered out of
me-too territory. In fact Id like to see the orange grilles extend up the
hood to the front of the canopy, like a racing stripe. (I know build it
yourself smart guy would be a valid response.) But, that landing gear is worth
any number of racing stripes.
Keep up the good (and colourful) work.

What do you mean by under the hood? Construction pics? Let me know, I can
easily take some and post them if you wish.

Thanks Dan. Agree with you about the greebles, I am not a big fan of those. A
little bit is a nice touch though.

Youre so right about the racing stripe! I wish I could have made an orange
stripe going from the front to the canopy, but unfortunately I dont have any
1x1x1 orange piece.... :-(

Ah, but I was thinking of 1x2 grille tiles like the one on the front, which
inspired the idea. That would make an excessively cool 3-D triple racing stripe.
I havent reverse engineered your design yet, so I dont know how that would
work...
I was also wondering if you could provide us with the French translation of
schleim so we may become fluent scleimers in yet another language. My
French-English dictionary fails me when it comes to such crucial words. It would
be a service to the whole community, and I thank you in advance on behalf of our
fellow schleimers.
Peace and multilingualism,

You dont need that. Just figure out a way to attach a 1x6 tile (2x in Bounty
Hunter Pursuit, btw) on top of the forward fuselage. Youve clearly got the
spacing figured out or you would have been able to attach the air intakes, so
all youd need to do is replace some of those 1x1s with 1x1 TECHNIC bricks and
stick stud-pins in them to attach the tile. Itll help break up the flatness,
which is a good thing anyways. Sport cars are usually curvey to help air flow
over them, and the flat forward section is long and wide enough that it looks a
bit odd. Fast, but odd.

Houla! Thats a tough one youre asking here! Litteraly it should be something
like Crampon pas sur le dessus (CPSLD, not easy to say...). Crampon pas vers
le haut (CPVLH, same problem). Nothing really convincing.
Id like to propose Patapon, which has at least as much meaning as Schleim,
and will be easy to pronounce.

Oops! I just found out that SNOT really has a meaning as itself, something like
mucus. So in French you can try morve, maybe mollard.

Hi JP,
Im glad you cleared that up. I looked up crampon and got worried in the
context of snot, and then I realized it was about the studs.
I think morve is perfect, not just because it is snot/schleim, but because
it leads to morvellous or in French morveilleuse. So, thats a morveilleuse
design youve got there.
Peace and morve,
Professor Whateverly

Very cool shape and creative use of parts. I like the orange parts. Hats off.
Does anybody in here know where these thruster-parts come from? I found out that
these parts belong to ball joints, but I couldnt find the part on peeron.
Thanks a lot for giving me a hint,
happy building,

Heres a big hint: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/44358
It is a little confusing because it starts as a 2 x 2 plate. I occasionally
have difficulty myself when I know what Im lookig for but I dont know what
they use to describe it.
