I just wanted to take a moment and place NWBrickCon's attitude toward this
event.  It can be summed up fairly easily.

*NWBC supports the LEGO community and any events generated therein. Meaning,
we'll support BF PDX.  We'll also support BW should Matt resurface (I realize
this is unlikely).  We'd also support a new event, should it spring up, in
SoCal.  We wish to work with the community, and see new events succeed.

*Steve and I had discussed the future of our events, including the option of
merging with BF PDX.  This is not likely.  We had discussed it and at this time
there are NO plans to so.

*It is my opinion that at this time there should not be a plan for this event in
Seattle propper.  I feel at this time it stands a chance of creating feeling of
"hogging" the events by other regions.  Steve and I discussed that on the year
that BF PDX made its way to Seattle we merge our efforts for that year and make
a "mega" event.  This is a good possibility but, since this opiton is at least
four years out, I think we aught to discuss it in more detail in 2006.

I have been a bit busy the last two weeks with the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events, lugnet.general, lugnet.announce) !!
