| (...) Point taken. I'll give it a shot. The problem is that I've written somewhere upwards of 1,100 parts, and although these do indeed conform to the pre-legalese LDraw format, they don't have the elaborate file header now present in official (...) (12 years ago, 22-Mar-12, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) Hi Dave, That is a really old version of LPub. I can imagine that you are using it for a reason, like you want to render with POV, but if that is not the case, I suggest you update LPub to version 4.0.0.11. It renders using LDView or LDGLite (...) (12 years ago, 5-Mar-12, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) There's plenty of people that work with LDraw outside the official library. So long as your parts are valid LDraw Format a problem with renderers is worth mentioning where others will actually see it. Or in short you can ask somewhere where an (...) (12 years ago, 22-Mar-12, to lugnet.cad)

| Ever since I was issued a new laptop from work and installed lpub on it, it takes ages to do any kind of render operation. I am guessing there's some security setting in Windows that has to time out every time it invokes the external program to do (...) (12 years ago, 5-Mar-12, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) I've stuck with this particular version because the newer editions have been giving me unpredictable results with BFC errors that I can't seem to track down. I won't bother you with all of the details, but I use a lot of custom LDraw parts, (...) (12 years ago, 5-Mar-12, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) I have built LDView from scratch in VC++ 2010 on a Win7 (64bit) machine and the resulting executable works like a charm, both in command line (cygwin), and from LPub. Didn't do any changes in the project file, so it must be something with the (...) (12 years ago, 21-Jan-12, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) I'm experiencing similar phenomena on Vista 64-bit. Not sure if it's actually related... I have my own app for generating instructions, which does batch rendering using LDView. I noticed that for rendering images of individual parts, it was (...) (12 years ago, 19-Jan-12, to lugnet.cad)

| Hello, I have been using different versions of LPUB and LDview in the past without issues. Also the most recent ones, LPub V4.0.0.11 along with LDView 4, were working in the past (till 2 month ago) without issues. Now I tried to render another (...) (13 years ago, 7-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) I too have run into this on many occasions and have had to use some pretty ugly workarounds. I've done instructions with not only thousands of parts, but sometimes many more synthesized parts than regular, especially for pneumatic models. LPub (...) (13 years ago, 3-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) Jaco has already increased the timeout, so he knows where in the code we timeout. LPub does pop up some dialog, but it could print out the LDView/ldglite output. It is in the tmp directory somewhere I think. Jaco, you up for adding that? Its (...) (13 years ago, 26-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)
