(...) 8644 is the lightest of the four racers. Mine has occasional hydroplaning where the others don't. The other 3 are heavy enough to create adequate FRICTION with the tabletop. Mousepad works fine for the lightest (8644). Which I think is the (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.year.2005)

I picked up each of the new 2005 small 'racers' sets at the MOA LIC on Saturday. They're cute sets, but my 8644 is pretty disappointing. I'm enjoying the new X-Pods. Could only find the light blue and the neon orange so far, but it's only a matter of time. I'm really glad they continued this line. The new "Hot Wheels" racers in the black "garages" are fantastic!!. I was just (...) (21 years ago, 22-Dec-04, to lugnet.year.2005)

Someone on the website obviously noticed the traffic increase and either pulled the pictures (possibly due to LEGO intervention) or stopped deep linking. Either way, they are gone (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2005)

(...) Thanks for the pic Bryan. Earlier today I went to a TRU and purchased one so I had already seen the box in person. I almost didn't buy it because I think the stickers used for the headlights are very unappealing. I think they make it look like (...)
