Sorry my reply took soooooo long, this discusion got out of hand.
I currently (in my WW set-up, mid 1870's for me) have
a left-over confederate.  I use drk grey legs, drk grey torso
(ADVENTURE's 1999 bad guy), a union soldier type face (stuble),
and a brown cowboy hat for lack of the new drk grey kepi (He could
be a texan during the latter parts of the war).  Because he is alone,
he is just another baddie, but an army, oh, MY bank account
couldn't cover that.  If we organize a WW/CW GROUP webpage (everyone's
MOCs) we would amass a impressive looking collection and if we
get enough CW response we could make it souly CW.

Glad to hear back from you.  This really sounds like a good thing.  I just • hope
that we get some more feedback from others out there.  I am currently trying • to
build a WW set up in the years after the war with some hold out confederates.
Trying to build a hide out for the rebs in the side of a canyon.  I am
currently realizing that I just don't have enough wild west pieces.  I have
every wild west set (with an extra weapons wagon), but I just have too much
building I want to make and not enough wood pieces.  Cash is an issue
unfortunately.  I think that I might end up getting another fort legorodo and
possibly another gold city junction.
What sets do you have?  What creations have you made?

thanks
David

I have Fort Legorado, a weapons wagon, a fig pack, a sherrif's office
(spare parts),a Indian thing (rain dance ridge?)and a bandit's wheel gun.

I have built a:
saloon
small mine
train depot(SMALL!) w/ windmill
I use the canyon baseplate @ the fort entrance
Vulture

Thats about it.  I wish I could find a gold city junction
someplace, but, I haven't yet.

(...) Cool I wish that I had a train for my wild west sets. I think that lego really missed out by not doing a train for the wild west. I have built a hotel and I reconstructed the sherrif's office where the jail was inside the building. Hopefully (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general)
