Just look at the shelves. Tons of 1997 Indian/Western sets that don't sell,
even with discount prices.

Exactly. I would predict low sales here in Europe, and probably also in the
rest of the world. Sounds like an U.S. only theme.

In my view the Indian sets were too similar to each other, just as the
Islander sets in 1995 were.

I don't think so. Are pirates and knights more popular among kids than
Indians and cowboys are? Fort Legoredo was and still is a very popular set,
in my view Lego just missed some opportunities regarding the Indian sets.
And please give us a saloon in 2001....
