  New Ft. Legoredo!!

Did everybody read the newest post from Brad Justus? At the bottum of the post he states that LEGO will be rereleasing Fort Legoredo and several other western sets. A product line I once thought dead is now being revived. While I don't think we will (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.western)

  Launch of my new Website

Hello Everyone. I am pleased to announce the launch of my personal LEGO website. I finally finished work on it this morning. Please go and take a look. It has many pictures of my town and also a want list and set list. Enjoy!! (URL) (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.general, lugnet.western, lugnet.town)

  CSA Flag

Hi all, After seeing all the pictures of everyone's Confederate troops battling it out against the Union troops, it inspired me to rebel and build in a theme that I haven't done anything with in a long time. (URL) 718 (23 years ago, 16-Dec-01, to lugnet.western)

  Confederate Flag

Hey Group, I made up Confederate Flags to go on the same size flags as the Union Cavalry ones. I am not able to post these to Brickshelf so I would be happy to email, as an attachment, a copy of the finished flag and a blank flag to whomever emails (...)   Western Wargame pics up on BrickShelf

I posted earlier that I was going to try to get a game up and take some shots of it. I grabbed a few friends and laid out a crude map ( space considering-- it was pretty cramped ). We were really playtesting some new rules, but it was fun to boot. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.western)

  Union and Rebel Armies

I said a while back that I'd post some pics of my armies. Sorry I don't have more at this time except simple shots showing how big they are are on Brickshelf: (URL) time allows I'll get the buildings up and take pictures of those as well. I'm (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.western)

Re: Any talk of a Pirate Game or BrikWars at BrickFest 2002?

(...) Yup, you're right. Serves me right for skimming instead of reading. Sorry about that. James (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates)

Re: Any talk of a Pirate Game or BrikWars at BrickFest 2002?

Re: Any talk of a Pirate Game or BrikWars at BrickFest 2002?

(...) I think the Pirate Game is a "given," provided that Frank, Chris, and I (or any two of the three, I'd bet) are attending. I'm planning to be there this coming year, so there you go. But we usually go campaign-game, though no discussion has yet (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates)

Any talk of a Pirate Game or BrikWars at BrickFest 2002?

Just wondering, has anyone put up for a Pirate Game or Brikwars for the 2002? and if they have, are there any ideas for scenarios or situations? I'd put a plug in for a Napoleanic, Civil war style BrikWars game if there hasn't been an idea put forth (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: New Train Station

I would just like to let everyone know that my train station pictures are now up on the creativity contest website: (URL) Questions, comments, suggestions - ben_289@hotmail.com P.P.S. This contest is awesome - I hope their are many entries. (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Army strength

(...) If I'm understanding this right, five patrols would be a troop. And a troop would be roughly 80 persons. I like the division, but being that Legos are in a mini scale, a troop or two would hardly seem to constitute an Army. I like the actual (...) (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.western)

  Army strength

In the miniatures rulebook, "Yellow Ribbon", a Cavalry Troop is 16 figures. An Officer, Bugler, guidon bearer, plus 3 nco's (1st Sergeant, Sergeant, and a Corporal), plus 10 troopers. The rules further state: This organization gives a nice little (...) (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: New Train Station

Dear Greg, I was daydreaming in a college class when I thought of the station idea. I thought it would be cool to make a station with a skylight - then I had to order a few parts. I study architecture so a few ideas might have rubbed off. My main (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: New Train Station

Ben - That's a nifty looking station. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I particularly liked the way you turned the blue-uniformed soldiers into railroad workers. My question is whether this station is based on some actual structure you're familiar (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.western)

  New Train Station

Dear Wild West and Train fans, I have created a train station for the creativity contest. Now that I have entered, I posted the pictures on brickshelf. (URL) had to desimate a few castle sets and many of my wild west figures along with ordering many (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.western)
