Ben - That's a nifty looking station. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I
particularly liked the way you turned the blue-uniformed soldiers into
railroad workers. My question is whether this station is based on some
actual structure you're familiar with or whether it's just the product of
your imagination?
I'm hoping to have time to put together a Wild West themed entry for the
Creativity Contest also. Most of my recent LEGO time has been spent with
our local LUG here in Richmond (VA) preparing for our first train show (two
weekends earlier this month) and a special "LEGO Day at the Library" coming
up on Dec. 1. So anything I do for the contest will be quickly thrown
together in the last couple of weeks of December when there's just so much
spare time to squander.
Anyway, good luck with your entry.
Greg

| Dear Greg, I was daydreaming in a college class when I thought of the station idea. I thought it would be cool to make a station with a skylight - then I had to order a few parts. I study architecture so a few ideas might have rubbed off. My main (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.western)
