Re: SCLTC Closes Out 2002 Display at the SDMRRM

If you are in Southern California and can make it to Balboa Park in San Diego, be sure to check out the SCLTC Layout at the San Diego Model RailRoad Museum. It's on public display for another 2 weeks, we've had to change our teardown date due to (...)   Re: SCLTC up and running at SDMRRM now through New Years!

(...) Definitely a good idea. Problems are: 1. The museum has no more permanent layout space available (the last space went to some Lionel types last year). 2. This museum works with some heavy sponsorship relationships. People are always amazed (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org.scltc, lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.town)

Re: SCLTC up and running at SDMRRM now through New Years!

A suggestion should be made to the SDMRRM that the LEGO® layout be a permanent feature of the museum, just like the O, N and HO scale layouts already are. Think of the publicity and recognition! -Harvey (22 years ago, 24-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org.scltc, lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.town)

Re: SCLTC at Cal Stewart Show in Pasadena, California!

(...) Thanks Steve! We really have a lot fun adding the details for each show. We are very excited about the SDMRM show, 6 weeks in one spot! No setup and tear down within 48 hrs. Robert Powell SCLTC (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

Re: SCLTC at Cal Stewart Show in Pasadena, California!

Again great layout guys! So much don't know where to start. I love that the base layout was created and now you guys are detailing. There's a lot of mileage in that approach. And the San Diego Model Railroad Museum (SDMRM) in San Diego’s Balboa Park (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

Re: SCLTC at Cal Stewart Show in Pasadena, California!

The second batch of pictures have been merged with the first, so you will need to go through all 125 of them to catch the 56 new ones posted on Sunday. Note the inner sanctum of the layout (picture 123) which is not visible from outside the layout (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

SCLTC at Cal Stewart Show in Pasadena, California!

We've done another show! (And it's still happening!) On November 9-10, 2002, the Southern California LEGO Train Club displayed their mountain layout at the Cal Stewart show in Pasadena, California.   Re: Pictures of SCLTC's Latest Show

It is very tall from behind. Initially that side was going up against a wall, so it wasn't going to matter as much. Transporting SCLTC layouts is getting easier. We have built crates that hold fully populated 30 inch wide tables. The crates have (...) (22 years ago, 28-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

Yep, your right, the Special Edition Naboo fighter was making a few strafing runs towards the end of the show. I'm not sure if we have any photo's of it, but there was a Imperial Shuttle sighting in the campground as well. Robert Powell (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

This layout is great! Man, if you unstack all the levels and were to put them side-to-side, this layout would be huge. Huge layout, nice details, and beautiful sculpting.
