A suggestion should be made to the SDMRRM that the LEGO® layout be a permanent feature of the museum, just like the O, N and HO scale layouts already are. Think of the publicity and recognition! -Harvey

(...) Definitely a good idea. Problems are: 1. The museum has no more permanent layout space available (the last space went to some Lionel types last year). 2. The SCLTC multilevel LEGO train layout that debuted for 2 days at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana in October and 2 days at the Cal Stewart show in Pasadena earlier in November is is up and running for 6 full weeks at the San Diego Model (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.announce) !!
