The SCLTC multilevel LEGO train layout that debuted for 2 days at the
Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana in October and 2 days at the Cal
Stewart show in Pasadena earlier in November is is up and running for 6 full
weeks at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park.
This layout features trains running at 4 different elevations with so many
tunnels that some trains spend more time in them than out! Featured items
include a huge mining operation with Mindstorms controlled rail cars, a 4
level high dam with Mindstorms controlled generator plant, an animated wind
turbine array, fabulous rolling stock and engines, 6 bridges, a thriving
downtown, upscale mountain top homes, and hundreds of minifigs and vehicles
engaged in all sorts of activities.
