Lego will not sell accesories to retailers! Wow, Rob, that is infuriating. I always guessed that it was the otherway around; that is, retailers couldn't move the trains so they stopped carrying all the train stuff. My guess was always a bit suspect (...) And LEGO never sold all of the train stuff in stores in the U.S. And at the TRU in my area (back in 1992-95) the LEGO Train stuff (...) John and Robin have some really good points. Allow me to side in with my opinion. In some cases it is frustrating that LEGO doesn't sell the extended train product line through retailers. (...) Funny, that's how I fixed my 4.5v train stop signal (for lack of a better term). It was that red pole with the red train signal which was used as the train logo in the catalogs.
