One seems vaguely Alcoish (the one with the rounded cab roof and nose) while the other seems more EMDish (the one with the sloped cab roof and nose). (...) The NGLTC had a great time at the Atlanta Greenberg Toy & Train show this past weekend. We had quite a turn out of fine Train MOCs from club members: Lewis showed off his new Shay #5: (URL) had his Big Boy (not sure the version, I've lost count :) (...) We've done another show! (And it's still happening!) On November 9-10, 2002, the Southern California LEGO Train Club displayed their mountain layout at the Cal Stewart show in Pasadena, California. It is very tall from behind. Initially that side was going up against a wall, so it wasn't going to matter as much. Transporting SCLTC layouts is getting easier. Mark- The same layout will be at the ATC show in Pasadena during the second weekend of November (open to the public on Sunday). I noticed that KK Quah of GFLTC had posted pics of all of the containers from the swap, and the 8 widers GMLTC and TCLTC are missing: (URL) is our fault, and due to some other unforseen circumstances, our ambassador cars didn't reach KK in time to (...) (...) Thanks! We put a lot of effort in to it, and over a relatviely short amount of time. We had only about 3 months to order bricks and build the layout after the initial proposal! (...)
