  Any 9v train update?
 
Just want to see whether any update from anyone related to the future of the 9v train. In March,there is discussion of whether Lego will discontinue of the 9v train in 2007 depending on the 2006 fall sales. Anyone heard anyting? (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)

  A well known switcher in 8 studs
 
Hi, Some times ago, I rebuilt the well known 7760 set 12V Switcher in 8 studs (can be put on a 9V or 12V motor as you want). I have finally uploaded the image in my BS galery as well as the MLCAD. (...) Radio Shack has a nice stepup transformer which is basically a wall wart. The only unfortunate thing about it is that it only has one euro plug, but I think it does have enough capacity to run two controllers. It was a bit pricy ($32 or so). (...)
