  Re: 4559 works with 7835?

According to my site... (URL) and 7835 are both maunual 7866 is remote control (not automatic, it has no sensors) 7834 and 7866 are 12V because they come with the centre 12V conductor rails, 7835 does not, so without modification it only works with (...)   LEGO 7996 and 9V

Hi, I was just wondering - has anyone yet considered whether there might be a way to "9voltify" the LEGO 7996 set (switched rail crossing)? I mean, there we do have a very useful piece of track, however it is only usable for RC trains so far. What (...) (17 years ago, 31-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Is it possible to run lego trains outdoors?

(...) With 9v track, no way. 9v track does indeed rust if exposed to water over time. If you go with RC track I don't see why you couldn't run it outside but keep in mind that dirt acts as an abrasive so keep the track off the ground or take steps (...) Other than durability of the tape (which you'll be testing later), how does it work from an electrical standpoint? Same as (...) (17 years ago, 3-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Hello Have you seen any of the Brickbarons trains ? They don't use track. They are 16 wide ,works of art. He uses tiles for track.   Re: Train motors half price via S@H weekly special

If LEGO does do an RC train, I suspect it would be made to go alongside the existing 9V train and be made as either a Duplo product or a Jack Stone/4+ type product. Such a product would compete with products like Fisher Price Geotrax (which, IIRC, (...) (19 years ago, 4-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Although the 9v -> 12v conversion is very nice, as you said in another post, 9v is really the way to go. In fact, I don't have any 12V track, but I am planning on getting a 7745, or possibly some other 12V trains. Of course, you can simply (...) (21 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)
