Hey Steve,

You might want to consider some double doors in the wall behind the garage
rollup door. This would allow for large items to be moved in and out of the
display room with out a lot of issues ( like going around corners ).

I can imagine if you had large modules you'd want to be able to get them in and
out with ease.

I love the idea of the layout. I'm still working on getting a detached garage
built next to my house and have a LEGO cave in an apartment above the garage.

Hey James (long time...)
Originally I planned on double doors.  In fact a coworker just today mentioned
the same, but with a twist.  I have windows in the garage door and to let the
natural light in, he suggested double French doors. I don't want to see into the
storage area to disrupt the "visual space", but there is transparent "frosted"
coating for glass.

I'm thinking a single 36" door; or the largest interior door I can find.  The
reason why I'm backing off the double doors is that it will eat into the layout
area. Of course that can be mitigated.  Also I'll see the price delta. It may
turn out that I’ll get a large single French door!  Gotta love that natural
light!

Thanks for the comment!  Great thinking!

PS Good luck with your project!
