Modern UV protective treatments on windows should reduce that problem
significantly either built-into new windows or in after-market applications.

Maybe it isn't such a problem in newer brick, but I got quick yellowing of Lego with UV light from the barn layout when I was (...) (12 years ago, 7-Feb-12, to lugnet.trains)
