  Re: Coal Process Plant

James, Thanks! The tripple loads the hoppers by moving back and opening the trap door. I'm planing on automating the pickup and delivery. I was thinking of putting a sensor in the cart at the top so when it is full it whould stop and only start when (...) (25 years ago, 4-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Lets put it this way, there are -many- different ways for it to go wrong :) I have a working unloader, rotary type, with mindstorms controlling it. I really must try and finish the program, then video it in action. 5 Pnumatic cylinders, 1 (...) (25 years ago, 4-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Jim, I concurr with others' opinions - nice job on the design of the structure. I'm curious on how you managed the black crossbream effect on the front of the plant. (...) Yes. Conan has a bunch of those in grey from somewhere so I used them both in the water tower and the coaling tower. I DID use the 2x2x5 lattice columns in my sanding tower. from Paul Foster's page of pics: (URL) one shows my coaling tower (on (...) (25 years ago, 5-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Coal Process Plant

(...) Ahh-thanks for the point, Frank, and once again Larry. I was confused. When I revisited those pictures my mind was cleared up. I've got 2x2x5 black lattivce pieces and some 1x8 technic linkage plates (with holes at each end) right here in (...) (25 years ago, 6-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
