Nothing on the box states where it was from... but on the instruction page,
right at the bottom, it says the following--
British Lego Limited Brit. Pat. 866.557 Printed in Germany by H.O. Persiehl,
Hamburg. 97040-Eng.
So it came across the pond to my hands. Thought it was a Canadian set.
There is a sticker sheet that states 'Peel off these Golden Studs and stick them
on the Golden Bricks shown on the back of a 1974 LEGO leaflet to claim FREE
GIFTS. Valid until 1st.January 1976'
I think it's expired.
So there you are.
