Re: A lil' Mountain with10 Tunnel Portals

(...) I agree awesome work, highlighted for sure. My biggest problem with large scluptured modules is not where to store them but having the room to build them. My LEGO room isn't big enough for me to keep a few modules setup over a long period of (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.indylug, FTX)

Re: A lil' Mountain with10 Tunnel Portals

Hi Brian, Awesome, awesome! Great job on this, the use of bridges and retaining walls, etc... I love how we (L-gaugers) are getting more and more sophisticated about our layouts.   Re: A lil' Mountain with10 Tunnel Portals

(...) I really like the multiple levels. I think train displays have continuously become larger and larger on two dimensions, but adding height (apart from really tall buildings) is something that we should all aim for. Having built mountains and (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: Layout Started

Some simple model railraoding techniques might offer some depth. Perhaps a blue gradient staring at about 12" above the table top, to about 36" above the table (depending how high the tallest buildings are). Since its already light blue, get some (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

  First LEGO 8 wide train

I have read many messages regarding that LEGO trains should be build 6 wide or 8 wide. We all know LEGO choose to create their trains 6 wide. 8 wide we have to design ourselves. But browsing through old LEGO ideabooks I found this picture of what I (...) (20 years ago, 2-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

New Parts Drawings - Plates, Slope, Track Pieces

I wish TLC would make these parts. Seeing earlier discussions I think I'm not alone! I've attempted 3rd angle projection drawings, showing top, side and underside, despite not having a drawing package. Drawing these parts in Paint is eyestrain city! (...)   Re: Red Caboose Mods
