I have read many messages regarding that LEGO trains should be build 6 wide or 8
wide. We all know LEGO choose to create their trains 6 wide. 8 wide we have to
design ourselves. But browsing through old LEGO ideabooks I found this picture
of what I think was the first 8 wide LEGO train:
It’s from the 1969 ideabook 240.
