Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO Train Products! —Ludo Soete
(...) Hi, Nice pictures but there's something i notice on the two new train sets : Both will be equiped with a speed regulator,(another speed regulator i pay for to end up on the shellf) and the 4511 seems to be only a circle track [no straigts].         Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO Train Products! —Jason J. Railton
(...) How about an alternative available through Shop-At-Home that doesn't include the power supply and regulator? Or track even? 4511 looks good, though I think I might pass. Nice to see a Lego figure boarding a train with a valid ticket for once (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)

Q? 4512 Buffer (was: Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO Train Products!) —James Mathis
(...) Oh, man! Thanks! I hadn't realized this. Now I have a question for everyone. Sorry if I've missed this in another message thread... What is the black piece beneath the buffer on the front of the 4512 freight locomotive? Is that a new element (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) most 'North American' locomotives... If that's what it turns out to be, I consider that a good sign that Lego is starting to recognize the fact that not all trains look like European models.          Re: Q? 4512 Buffer (was: Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO Train Products!) —Frank Filz
(...) Another interesting one I noticed. Apparently in LEGOworld people are really tall. Notice the 11 1/3 M clearance label on the crane? I'm pretty sure the clearance is 11 bricks and one plate... So therefore, 1 brick height equals 1 M. Or maybe (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Me either. My other concern with the click hinges is that they wear out. There is abrading that happens every time you move them. While this is true for any part that has moving surfaces in contact, it's especially bad with these. Some of my (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)

Wow, I think your right! And I think their at both ends of the loco?         Q: 4512 and 4511 (was: Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO Train Products!) —John Musil
Something that I just noticed is that the 4512 locomotive truly looks like it resembles set 4564's engine. Is this the same engine only different colors and a different removable top? And, 4511 has some strange lights on the front of the engine. The (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)
