The color appears yellow in MLCad. Used L3P to convert to the POV-Ray
format. When rendered in POV-Ray, the yellow "turns into" the shiny metal
you see in the images of my APT at The BrickShelf.
I don't know what the shiny color number is, exactly. For other chrome
bits, I've used color #383 in the color dialog box in MLCad that pops up
when you click on the "more" button in the color block tool bar.

Oh, that's a great point. I will try to refrain from violating this in
future posts. I think the only unofficial part I've used to date is the 9v
straight track section. Looks good for the renders, but I hadn't thought of
the frustration someone else might have if that part isn't in their .dat
library.

| Let me just first clear up a slight misconception... I wasn't trying to say that either Chris OR James were doing anything wrong with theier use of unofficial track models or anything like that. I agree with Chris that the "wheel shiny" color is (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)
