Re: Train Pics at Joe' Lego Page

(...) Hi Joe, No, I did not mean your LEGO purity. I was refering to Larry's purity. He seems to love to chime in on the purity issue. My feeling is that if you are not cutting 'em or painting 'em that is pure enough for me! (I did trim a (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Hi Chris, Most of the pieces for the Pillsbury car came from Freestyle sets. If you don't have blue parts, they also made many of them in red. A Coca-Cola car would look good too.. As for the purity statement: No intent there at all. Some (...) (26 years ago, 7-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

  LEGO Trains in Japan?

  Re: show setup (wasThanks PNWLTC/dp

Hi Paul, the short answer to the setup question is that, at least for all current members, everything is broken down and packed in boxes or stacked; no modules are transported as a setup affair. What follows is the long answer. I'll also try to (...) (26 years ago, 7-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

Modern US prototype modelers, take note of this work. That clink-clink-clink you hear in the background is the bar being raised. While there are a few things I'd nitpick, I think there are a number of noteworthy items: - The covered hoppers and coil (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)
