  Re: new Lego Train sets?

(...) Maybe not in Finland, but it still part of the 2000 line-up in the US. (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: new Lego Train sets?

(...) Well, according to the Lego Finland it is not. And I haven't seen it in any of the 2000 catalogs. Mika (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) roads (...) In the US the yard goat is whatever power has yard duty. Yardmaster's whim, to a certain extent. Sometimes it's a relatively small engine, like a SW (which I modeled). (...) No, it is a smallish animal, somewhat larger than a dog that eats grass...but, in a railway context, it would be about eq. to a 08 or such like (if not a 2x class engine in the UK, american ones tend to be 1500 HP and up.   Re: Yards

(...) In Britain all railway lines are designated up or down - then fast or slow. All lines go 'up' to London - how they work out lines parallel to London I don't know. Is a goat a shunter, a bit like 7760? Carbon 60 (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

  Re: new Lego Train sets?

(...) Yes. There will be no new trains this year. Usually, we get new train sets every two to three years. (...) 4565 is not selling-off. It is still in the 2000 line-up. (...) I would say so. (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  new Lego Train sets?

I have not been keeping up with this group since the great April Fools joke, so excuse me if this question is redundant. Have we seen the entire lot of new mid-year release Lego sets? Don't they release new train sets every year? I have not seen any (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) "please" assumed since, after all, it's Jonathan we're dealing with. you need to avoid shorting. Standard ways, discussed here already: - Use a sticker to insulate - leave a gap of a stud between the tracks so they don't actually connect. (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Yards

  Train set 127

I have this set that I picked up in a large lot, does this set interest anyone? I am afraid it does not really fit anything I am doing currently. Steven (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
